Guten Tag, I'm Domenique a trilingual copywriter vannie Kaap. Being German and Cape Coloured has exposed me to everything from Oktoberfests to yaadt parties, and with that to an eclectic array of vibes and vocabulary.
I've always had a knack for storytelling. Whether I was reenacting a scene from Goethe to a full house or imitating my Nan at my tannies house, didn't matter. As long as I could evoke some sort of emotion in people.
My Story
After completing my matric, top of my class in German and Business Studies, I pursued a degree in copywriting. This field allows me to harmoniously apply my strengths and passions: language, business and people. What I am most passionate about is bringing out diverse human stories in brands. My strong sense of compassion and ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds, allows me to empathise with consumers and find deep-seated human truths that create the most authentic and compelling brand solutions.
During my studies at Vega, I was fortunate enough to receive a Silver Pendoring Award in the social media category.
In my spare time, I love to read, socialise and learn new languages, currently, I'm learning Spanish. I also love blogging and creating content for social media.
I have been fortunate enough to travel and interact with people from all around the world, and feel a deep sense of empathy with all of life.
